World Book and Copyright Day (also known as International Day of the Book or World Book Days) is a yearly dress up and fancy dress event.
Internationally it is celebrated on 23 April in the UK it will be on Thursday 4th March. Check with your school when and how they will be celebrating. If you are on a PTA this could be a great chance for a fundraiser too. Other than the hordes who will dress up as comic book & Disney characters the most popular book ideas are generally Harry Potter (don't just dress as a muggle), Lord of the Rings (but don't get in the Hobbit!), Dr Seuss, Alice in Wonderland (great for anyone between 7 and 37) and A.A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh.
Make sure your child is one of the best dressed for your school's World Book Day celebration with an authentic costume that's easy to wear for work and play all day at school.
