Cambridge May Balls

While Cambridge May Balls are formal affairs, requiring evening dress, where the hosts specify a Fancy Dress theme or a masked ball we are happy to offer a special offer to all those buying their costumres from us in pairs. Remember the balls are held in the college gardens, lasting from around 9 p.m. until well after dawn, with some colleges offering rides in balloons when the ball ends, and even breakfast in Paris, or, more traditionally, punting to Grantchester so chose your costume to suit this!

Washington and Lee University

The Premiere Social Event of the South. The Washington and Lee University Fancy Dress Ball was started in 1907 by Anne Robertson White, one of the most popular librarians ever at Washington and Lee. "Miss Annie Jo" presided over Fancy Dress until1920.
